Who is Jesus?
At Liberty we believe true personal freedom is discovered only in a relationship with Jesus, that it is in Jesus that you will find your purpose, come to know peace and find true meaning in life.
For all the good there is in us, it is plain to see the mess that we as humanity have gotten ourselves in. We’ve created a ‘dog-eat-dog’ world, where it’s winner takes all, survival of the fittest and tough luck if you didn’t get there first. We’ve fought wars, oppressed the weak, lied, cheated and stolen, all in the name of ‘self’, ultimately forgetting the purpose God put us on this planet for. There has to be an answer to this brokenness that is so prevalent in our world and ourselves- something to put us back on the road to our original glorious purpose for good and for God. We believe that Jesus is that answer- to free us from our past, and create a future where we are at harmony with ourselves, others and god
